Indira Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology was started in the year 2007. The college is run under Indira Gandhi Memorial Trust. It is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. The Indira Gandhi College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute mainly aims to equip all students with good technical knowledge and capabilities, flexibility and an understanding of the societal context of corporate world. It is widely set to be the foremost multi professional research led institution with special emphasis on career oriented education.
