Anna University has extended the deadline for filling of the TANCET 2020 Entrance application form to 4th February 2020 by 5.00 pm according to Indian Standard Time (IST). The Application Form for the TANCET 2020 Entrance test is available now at tancet.annauniv.edu.
Pursuing course of TANCET 2020 offers the candidates the chance to apply for more than one course. Candidates need to pay application fee for each course separately. All details regarding TANCET application form are given below:

It is suggested, that candidates preserve the following documents ready while applying for TANCET 2020.

- In the TANCET Registration form, enter your name, mobile number, email id, password.
- Click on the “Register” button and Proceed.
Login
- On submitting the registration details, TANCET key is sent on your registered mobile number by SMS.
- Next, the candidates have to login by entering their registered email id, password and TANCET key.
- After entering your login details, click the “Login” button.
- After submitting the details, proceed to fill in details in the TANCET 2020 Application Form.
Filling of TANCET Application Form
The application form for TANCET 2020 is divided into 4 different section – Entrance test details, personal details, address for communication and academic details.
Pay the Application Fee
- After entering all the necessary information, candidates need to proceed to pay the required amount of the application fee.
- To make the payment the candidates shall provide their Application Number generated after completing all the application formalities.
- Although, the payment is integrated with the application form, if due to some technical error, the candidates face any problem, they can log in again using their application number and proceed to pay the amount.
TANCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates those who apply for the exam can check their result from the website. TANCET Results will be published on 20th March 2020. Candidates can view their results by entering their login credentials.
The cut off marks will be released after the result declaration. Candidates have to register on the website to participate in the counselling. The registration for counselling for MBA and MCA courses will be started from April/May 2020.
The counselling procedure and document verification process will be stated form May 2020. The registration for other courses will be started from April/ May 2020. Registration can be done through online mode only.

TANCET Marking Scheme
- TANCET question paper will carry 100 questions.
- There will be four alternatives, out of which candidates need to choose one correct answer.
- For every correct answer, candidates will score 1 mark.
- For each wrong answer, 1/3 marks will be deducted
- If any candidate selects multiple options as the answer, it will be treated as the wrong answer and 1/3 mark will be deducted for this.
- No marks will be deducted for the questions left unanswered.

TANCET 2020 Admit Card
TANCET 2020 hall ticket/admit card will be available for download from February 13 onwards. The link to download the hall ticket will be available on the official website of TANCET or Anna University.
Registered candidates can download the hall ticket for TANCET exam by entering their email ID and password.
After downloading, candidates should take a printout of the hall ticket and carry the same to the examination centre along with one photo-identity proof.
Candidates should note that the hard copy of the hall ticket is not sent through post. TANCET hall ticket is an important document and candidates should retain the same till completion of the admission process.

TANCET 2020 Counselling Rounds
The counselling process for TANCET 2020 will begin in mid-July days after the declaration of results. On the basis of their performance in the entrance test, candidates will be called for the counselling round which will take place in August last week.
Step 1: Online Registration
- Candidates need to visit the official website
- Click on ‘Register Online Application’ tab
- Fill the mandatory fields marked in red
- Select the type of course (MBA/MCA)
- Provide your email ID and mobile number
- The password will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number generated after registration
- Candidates are required to provide valid TANCET 2020 hall ticket number and TANCET 2020 normalised marks in the application form
- Candidates are also required to enter demand draft number, category, religion, educational qualification, etc.
- Click on ‘Submit’ tab after entering all the details in the application.
- Take a printout of the application form and address label.
COUNSELLING FEES
Candidates need to enclose a demand draft of Rs 300 (unreserved categories) and Rs 150 (SC/SCA/ST candidates of Tamil Nadu) drawn in favour of ‘The Secretary, TN MBA/MCA Admissions – 2020, Government College of Technology’ payable at Coimbatore.

After submitting TANCET counselling form, candidates need to send the printout of the application form, address label along with the relevant documents to the concerned authority. Candidates need to submit the self-attested copies of the following documents –

Step 2: Publishing of TANCET Rank List
- The TANCET rank list is prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in the exam

- On the basis of candidates’ rank, they are called for the counselling round
Step 3: Downloading of Call Letter
- Candidates will need to carry the call letter while appearing for TANCET 2020 counselling

TANCET Counselling – Points to remember
- The rank list will be published based on the ranks acquired by candidates
- Candidates will be able to check the status of vacant seats of each participating institute after every round of TANCET 2020 counselling.
- If candidates are not satisfied with the allotted colleges, he/she can attend the second and third round of TANCET counselling.
- Candidates absent in the first or second phase of counselling will not be allowed to attend the subsequent stages of TANCET counselling 2020.
