Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in Rajasthan, a private non-profit institution for higher education and research in India conducts BITSAT 2021 Entrance Exam offering admissions to students in various Integrated First-Degree Programs of the Institute.
BITSAT 2021, a university level entrance exam enables admission to candidates in programmes like B.E., B. Pharm and M.Sc. programmes in the BITS campuses located in Pilani, Goa, & Hyderabad. All interested applicants can register online for the entrance test.

BITSAT 2021 Exam Application Form
Applicants must refer to the details given below regarding Application Form for BITSAT 2021:
- BITSAT 2021 Application Form will be released in February 2021.
- The Application form can be filled by the candidates through online mode.
- The last date to submit the application form is in the second week of March 2021.
- As only one application form is allowed to be submitted, multiple application forms are liable to be rejected.
- The complete application process includes steps such as, Online Registration, filling the Application form, Uploading of Photograph and Signature and making payment of application fee.
- Candidates wishing to correct their entered details can edit them from 2nd to 3rdweek of March 2021.
- The concerned authority provides application correction facility online.
- International applicants have to complete the same application procedure for registration.
- No hard copy needs to be sent to the authority.

BITSAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should check their eligibility before applying for the various courses.
First Degree Programmes other than B. Pharm
- All the candidates should have passed their 10+2 level or its equivalent exam from any recognized Board or University.
- The candidates must have passed their 10+2 level exams with the main subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths with adequate proficiency in English.
- Candidates should have obtained a total of 75% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In each of these subjects, he/she must have secured 60% marks individually.
- Candidates appearing for 12th level exams in 2021 can apply.
Admission to B. Pharm
- The candidates must have passed their 12th level exams or its equivalent exam from any recognized Board/University.
- They should have passed their 12th level exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics as the main subjects. He/she must also be proficient in English language.
- Candidates should have obtained total of 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics subjects. He/she must have secured 60% marks individually in each of the subjects.
Direct Entry
Students holding First rank from all the Central and State Boards in the year 2021 will be given direct admission to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2021 score.
BITSAT 2021 Exam Pattern
- BITSAT 2021 entrance test will be conducted in online CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode.
- The question paper will have four sections – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, Logical reasoning and English proficiency.
- There will be a total of 150 multiple choice questions in the paper.
- The question paper will be in English.
- The exam will be for 3 hours.
- Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks
- There will be negative marking and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

BITSAT 2021 Syllabus
According to the BITSAT Syllabus, candidates can opt for the NCERT Syllabus of 11th and 12th standard to prepare for various topics.
The syllabus will cover various topics from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning.
Topics included in the syllabus of BITSAT 2021 are given below in detail for various subjects:
- Physics: Units and Measurements, Kinematics, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Impulse and Momentum, Rotational Motion, Work and Energy, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Waves, Heat and Thermodynamics etc.
- Chemistry: States of Matter, Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, atomic structure, Physical and Chemical Equilibrium, Hydrogen and s-block elements, p- d- and f-block elements, Principles of Organic Chemistry and Hydrocarbons etc.
- English Proficiency: Will cover Grammar, Vocabulary, Analogy, Reading Comprehension and Composition.
- Logical Reasoning: This may include Verbal reasoning–Classification, Analogy, Logical Deduction – Reading Passage, Chart Logic ETC as well as Nonverbal reasoning covering Pattern Perception, Figure Matrix, Paper Cutting, Rule Detection etc.
- Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Two-dimensional Coordinate Geometry, Three-dimensional Coordinate Geometry, Differential calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Probability, Linear Programming etc.
Filling up the BITSAT 2021 Application Forms
The last date of submission of online application is from the Second week of March 2021. The BITSAT application form can be filled and submitted online. Candidates will be able to fill their application form of BITSAT 2021 from February 2021.
Candidates are required to register themselves on the BITSAT website before filling the online application form. Do not forget to take a printout of the filled-in application form for future reference.
- Visit the official website link. You will be directed to the application form.
- Go through the login page and click on ‘new user, click here to register for BITSAT 2021’ link.
- Click on the ‘New Registration Link’.
- Fill in your personal details like name, gender, date of birth and email id.
- Enter the captcha details, and then click on the Confirm & Submit Details Button.
- To fill the application form enter your personal details such as name, gender, date of birth, Email-id, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, nationality, address, city and contact numbers, etc.
- Next, fill in your study details like 12th Class details. This includes the Institution’s Name, Name of the Examination Board, Year of Passing/Appearing and selected subject (Mathematics/Biology).
- Now the candidates have to select the BITSAT Online exam center in the dropdown menu.
- Candidates are allowed to select three preferences of exam city.
- Choosing the Dubai as exam center would have only one preference.
- Click on the Submit Button.
- You will now receive a message showing that you cannot edit the entered details.
- Click at your convenience.
- Uploading Images is the most important part. After submission of all details you will get a unique application number. Keep it safe for the future.
- Now, upload the recent coloured scanned image of a photograph and signature. The image should be in .jpg format.
- The size of the photograph and signature size should be should be max 50 KB – 80 KB.
- After Clicking on ‘Browse’ button, press the ‘Upload’ button.
- Now pay the fee as per the exam centre option.
- Select any mode of payment and click on ‘Click Here’. Payment can be done through debit card/credit card or net banking.
- The Application fee is non-refundable.
- Click the ‘Submit’ button after submitting the details
- Review your Application and take a print of it.

BITSAT 2021 Slot Booking
After the completion of the application process, BITSAT 2021 Slot booking process will begin from 4th Week of March to 1st Week of April 2021.
A direct online link will be provided to book exam slots on the website. Candidates can choose test date and time between the provided timing and dates. Students are required to enter their application number, date of birth, gender, email id and other required details to book exam slots.
BITSAT 2021 Admit Card
BITSAT 2021 Admit Card will be available online from Second Week of April 2021 after the successful slot booking process. Candidates have to enter their email id, username, application number and password in order to download the admit card
Students should check all the details in the admit card so as to be true and correct. In case there is any discrepancy in the admit card, they should contact the officials to get the problem rectified before the last date. In addition, students must carry a valid id proof with the admit card to enter the exam centre.
BITSAT 2021 Results
The result of BITSAT 2021 will be announced on the next day of the exam. Students can check their result by entering their login credentials. BITSAT 2021 Results will be announced by Last Week of May 2021.
BITSAT 2021 Results will be announced by releasing the total number of correct and wrong answers along with the scores. Each of the participating institutions will declare separate cut off marks according to the opted stream and category of the candidates.
BITSAT 2021 Admission
BITSAT 2021 Counselling Procedure (Admission Form filling) will be notified soon. Students clearing the BITSAT 2021 exam have to apply in various BITS campuses by giving the details of class 12th marks and choice of programme.
Two lists will be prepared as part of the admission procedure. One list will be for all programmes (except for B. Pharm)and the other list will be only for B. Pharm.
Admit list and waiting list will be released online, including names of qualified candidates. The admit list will have the name of candidates scoring the cut off marks and are selected for counselling.
The
waiting list for selected candidates includes the names of candidates selected,
who will be called for the counselling process, for any seats remaining vacant
during the counselling.
