Highly Important: JEEMAIN 2021 February Session has been scheduled to begin from 23rd February 2021. All applicants can register for the national- level entrance exam on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Candidates aspiring to take up professions like engineers/architects can apply on the main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the Joint Entrance Exam Mains 2021 from February 23rd 2021. The registrations for the admission are expected to end within a week’s time. All interested /eligible applicants are advised to register for the entrance exam either on or before the prescribed date mentioned on the website.
The entrance exam is conducted four times in a year, i.e. in February, March, April & May months. Through this entrance exam, the applicants can gain entry into the prestigious engineering programmes at various IIT’s, NIT’s and CFTI’s as well as other renowned institutions.
Admissions to B.E. / B. Tech courses would need the applicants to appear for JEE MAIN Paper – I. On the other hand, for courses such as B. Arch and B. Plan the students need to qualify JEEMAIN Papers – II and III.

JEE MAIN Application Form 2021
Before applying for the JEE MAIN 2021 entrance exam, the applicant must read through the following:
- The JEE MAIN 2021 Application Form is available only through online mode.
- The last date to fill the Application Form for the JEE MAIN 2021 is 23rd January 2021.
- The applicants must fill only a single application form. If any multiple application forms are filled and submitted, it would lead to being rejected.
- All incomplete application forms will not be accepted and so it is advisable to fill the application form with the correct details.
- Candidates can apply for one session or all four sessions as required.
- The applicant must fill the language of the question paper while filling up the application form. Please note that it can’t be changed at a later stage.
- The concerned Authority provides the option to rectify the mistakes if any in the application form within a limited period. The Correction process is provided to the applicant from 27th January to the 30th January 2021.
- Applicants registered and appeared for the first session of JEEMAIN need not register for the second session. These applicants can log in and fill the application form with the login details provided in the first session of the JEEMAIN.
- The applicants are advised to take printouts of the application form for the future.
Documents needed for Applying to JEEMAIN 2021
- All qualification document details.
- A scanned multiple passport size photographs in JPEG/JPG Formats.
- 12th Standard Mark sheet with sizes within 50 Kb to 500 Kb.
- A valid or working email id along with a phone number/ mobile number.
- All the necessary cards like debit card/credit card/net-banking details for the payment process.
Application Fee Details
The candidate must submit the JEEMAIN 2021 Entrance Exam Application Fee online. The payment can be made online using a debit card/credit card/net-banking details or even PAYTM/UPI Mode.

JEE MAIN 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the JEEMAIN 2021 entrance exam, the applicant must read through the following:
- The candidates must pass their Intermediate or 12th Standard from any recognized Board or University in order to be eligible for the entrance exam.
- The applicants must have a pass in the qualifying exams of 5 subjects, with Physics and Mathematics as the majors along with Biology/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Technical Vocational subject.
- The B. Arch applicants must qualify 12th class with a minimum of 50% marks. The candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the mandatory subjects for the JEE MAIN entrance exam.
- Those applicants with B. Plan courses must qualify the entrance exam with Mathematics as the main subject for the eligibility.
- There is no age limit for the JEE MAIN 2021 entrance exam.
- Those applicants who have passed their 12th standards in 2019 or 2020 are eligible to apply.
- Applicants appearing 12th class or equivalent in 2021 are also eligible.

Application Process for JEE MAIN 2021
Before applying for the JEE MAIN 2021 entrance exam, the applicant must read through the following:
- Please visit the official website of JEE-MAIN 2021 Entrance Exam.
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Mark a Tick on the given heck box for the Disclaimer.
- Proceed to the Apply Online Option.
- Make sure you enter all details such as name, parent’s name, date of birth, qualification details etc. to register.
- Now select 4 cities as per your preference.
- Now provide a valid working email id and mobile number.
- Next, upload your recent passport size photograph and signature in the JPG / JPEG format. The photographs size must be between 10 Kb – 200 Kb and the signature must be between 4 Kb – 100 Kb.
- Recheck/ countercheck all the details entered in the application form.
- Next, move towards the submission of the application fee, as per the course, preference and category.
- Click on the ‘Go Payment’ option.
- Once the fees are paid, a confirmation page is generated on your computer.
- Next, take a printout of the confirmation page.
- Keep it for the future.
JEE MAIN 2021 Exam Pattern for B.E./ B. Tech courses
The JEE MAIN 2021 exam pattern is now updated on the information brochure available on the website. The entrance exam will be held online through CBT mode. The Drawing Test for JEE MAIN Paper-II (i.e. B. Arch) will be held through offline mode.
The entrance exam will consist of questions from Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. The questions will be in multiple-choice format and numeric based question format. The question paper will contain 90 questions out of which the candidates need to attempt at least 75 questions. The choices will be provided in Section B of the question paper. The exam will be of a 3-hour time limit for general candidates and 4 hours for those with disabilities.
The question paper will be made available in languages like English, Hindi, Tamil, Urdu, Odia, Assamese, Punjabi, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, and Bengali for all centre cities. The students have to select the language medium at the time of application. No changes later on can be done.
Each correct question carries 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. There is no negative marking in Section B of the Question paper of JEE MAIN 2021.

JEEMAIN 2021 Exam Pattern for B. Arch courses
The medium of exam for B. Arch is online. The drawing test of Paper 2 will be conducted through offline mode on a sheet of A4 size. The JEE MAIN question paper for the B. Arch consists of three subjects namely, mathematics, aptitude test and drawing test.
The questions will be of multiple-choice in Section A and Section B to be filled with numerical values. 30 questions will be there in the mathematics section; 50 questions in Aptitude test; 2 questions in the drawing test. In mathematics, of section B candidates have to attempt 5 questions out of 10. There will be a total of 82 questions in the paper.
The exam will be of a 3-hour time limit for general candidates and 4 hours for those with disabilities.
Question paper medium will be Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu in addition to Hindi, English and Gujarati.
Each question will carry 4 marks for the correct response. For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score. There will be no negative marking for a numerical value answer type of questions.
Note: In section B, candidates will have to attempt any 5 questions out of 10.

JEE Main Paper (B. Plan) Exam Pattern:
- The paper of B. Plan of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted for admission to undergraduate planning courses.
- The mode of exam of the paper is CBT mode only.
- The Paper comprises of three parts – Mathematics, Aptitude test and planning based objective type MCQs.
- Section A will contain Multiple Choice questions & Section B will contain questions whose answers are to be filled in as the numerical value.
- 30 questions will be there in the mathematics section; 50 questions in Aptitude test; 25 questions in planning. In mathematics, 20 questions will be of multiple-choice type & 10 questions answers to be filled as a numerical value. There will be a total of 105 questions in the paper.
- The duration of the exam will be 3 hours. 4 hours for candidates having 40% disability.
- Question paper medium will be Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu in addition to Hindi, English and Gujarati.
- Each question will carry 4 marks for the correct response.

JEE MAIN 2021 Preparatory Guides
Before preparing for any examination, candidates must make a schedule & prepare as per the courses. Mock test will also be a good method to prepare for the exam. The exam conducting authority will provide the link to practice mock test (link will be given above).
Students should practice at least one mock test per week. It will help you to analyze your performance in the exam. First 15 minutes of the exam should be used by the candidates for reading instructions and question papers.
